Introducing Miss Peyton Echo Farley

Peyton is a 3 month old Staffordshire/Dalmation cross with a TOTALLY mellow demeanor. She is the favorite at the shelter, often having lunch with the folks in the office. She is calm, cool and collected around the other dogs and cats, is crate trained and has never had an accident at the shelter. She is small for her breeds, and will likely grow to about 55 pounds. She has spotted ears and many more are emerging along her back and hind quarters.

She actually fell asleep with her head in Emily's purse when we visited today. She was snoring. It was so very cute.

We fell in love.

She is being spayed on Monday and will be coming home mid week. Every single staff member who came by us was so thrilled for us, telling us how much they love her. I watched the other puppies climb all over her, frantic and she was interested but very relaxed about it, then crawled into Emily's lap and sat there quietly until she was brought back to her kennel.

I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am about this. I have not been this happy in a very long time.
