My Kid Is So Smart...

We were discussing the legal issues around being a renter whose landlord has insurance which would be cancelled if the tenant owns a dog with any mix of the following breeds:

Pit Bull, Bull Dog, Staffordshire Terrier, Bull Terrier, Doberman, Akita, Rottweiler, Shepard, Husky, Portugese Podengo (you get the idea).

Her response was that Peyton was a mix of Staffie and Dalmatian, a puppy, and was kind and gentle and would be raised as such. She was pretty upset, and she belted out:

"Mom, that is like saying you can't have a black person or a bi-racial person in your home because the crime rate in that particular demographic is so damned high. This is *insert expletive* absurd!"

She is right.
