Back in the saddle again...

Well folks, I just needed to take a rest and heal up a bit. Last week was frenetic, with much work, and clenching a chef's knife for three days was proving to put a damper on my computer ability. That, and, quite frankly, the fact that Mercury is SO VERY RETROGRADE this time...computers are not working right, ovens are going screwy, fuses are flipping out, and the world in general seems to be running amok.

Last weekend I worked very hard. We catered a wedding at the fabulous Commandant's House in Boston, on the harbor at the USS Constitution National Park. I got home around 2AM on Sunday morning, only to be awakened by Lux at the usual 5:15 AM. The rest of the weekend comprised of walking in the woods, sleeping and getting my finances together. So no Keen for a while. Le Sigh.

But I am BACK!!! My stitches will be removed later this week, and hopefully the wound will heal further. Right now it is at that itchy stage. Can't. Scratch. It. Yikes!!!

Your Daily Dose of Inspiring Words:

'If you choose to use your status and influence to raise your voice on behalf of those who have no voice; if you choose to identify not only with the powerful, but with the powerless; if you retain the ability to imagine yourself into the lives of those who do not have your advantages, then it will not only be your proud families who celebrate your existence, but thousands and millions of people whose reality you have helped transform for the better. We do not need magic to change the world, we carry all the power we need inside ourselves already: we have the power to imagine better." - J.K. Rowling commencement address to Harvard University class of 2008
