Flying Home

There are plenty of geese and ducks near where I live. There are woods, and streams, lakes, ponds, stone walls to hide beside, fields galore. I never tire of seeing them take off into the sky, forming their instinctual V, drafting one another, pacing themselves, being a community. It never ceases to make me smile.
