What would you do?

So, I am walking with Lux on our morning Squirrel Patrol when we round a corner and I spy a skunk wandering aimlessly in a driveway with a Yoplait yogurt container stuck on its head. First, I giggled, 'cause, let's face it, it was a funny sight. Then, I got really sad, realizing that the poor thing could not see where it was going, had no way of finding home, and was seemingly unable to extricate itself from this situation. Still, I had my dog, and I had nice clothes on and did not want to be sprayed OR bitten. I made the choice to leave it alone, figuring it would hopefully find a way to pull the container off of its head. I hope it found a way home. I think I shall be cutting my yogurt containers up the side from now on. I don't use that brand, but, still, I sometimes use single serving containers, and now I know what can happen to critters.
